Source Complementarity Matrix

Select the sources you plan to gather. Mark where you will examine response to support.

Sources

Tap a row to include it. M marks where modifiability will be sampled. N is on when the test's normative sample fits this student. Turn it off when it does not. S is on when the student can give a detailed account of their own language use and history. Turn it off when the account will be partial.

Scores are the depth each source can characteristically supply. Learning potential fills from the marked source only, because modifiability depends on deliberately introducing support rather than on which source was selected. Testing-the-limits is a technique, not a source: where it is used, its yield is already carried in that row's values.
